2. What we collect
- Server logs — IP address, browser type, requested URL and timestamp, kept only as long as needed for security and uptime.
- Essential preferences — a local setting that remembers whether you closed the cookie notice.
- Messages you send — if you email the desk, we read the content you chose to share and reply when we can.
We do not create marketing profiles, sell personal data, or run advertising trackers by default.
3. Why we process it
Processing is limited to operating the site securely, answering contact mail, and remembering your cookie choice. Legal bases are our legitimate interest in running a stable editorial site and, where you write to us, steps taken at your request.
4. Sharing
Hosting and email providers may process data solely to deliver those services under contract. We do not sell or rent personal data.
5. Retention
Logs rotate on a short cycle. Cookie-choice storage stays on your device until you clear it. Email threads are kept only while useful for the conversation, then deleted.
